Light parameters in exhibition spaces that guarantee the reliability of the colors in the pictorial work of art
Abstract
This study aims to present specific lighting parameters for the expressiveness of the work displayed in art spaces. The in-depth study of this theme involves an interdisciplinary approach to the significant scientific aspects of museographic applicability, fundamental to understanding the interrelationship between light, vision and painting. Furthermore, this study presents an analysis from the perspective of usability through user experience, through an evaluation technique called eye tracker, which aims to measure user attention and engagement during interaction with the interface. The data collected and analyzed contributed to the individual's spatial perception in the contemporary exhibition space through lighting, and to the elaboration of specific lighting recommendations that can guarantee the authenticity of the colors, providing the reliability of the pictorial work of art.
