Ergodesign & HCI, n.1, v.9, jan-jun (2021)
Vol. 9 No. 1We start 2021 with new perspectives for the Ergodesign & HCI Journal. The publication scale has also changed from the databases and indexers in which the journal was included last year.
With this, still in 2020 and the first months of 2021, articles from researchers from all over the country and abroad were submitted for this publication, confirming our expectations. The more significant number of submissions led to an increase in our body of reviewers and the integration of the Executive Editor in the team, Professor Dr. Claudia Stamato.
It is with this spirit of collective work, where authors, reviewers, and publishers have been working so that research in Ergonomics, Design, Human-Computer Interaction and related areas may reach all readers, that we bring you another issue of this Scientific Journal.
Enjoy your reading!

Ergodesign & HCI, n.2, v.8, jul-dec (2020)

Ergodesign & HCI, Special Number, v. 6, year 6 (2018)
Vol. 6 No. Especial (6)In the year we celebrate the 20th anniversary of LEUI Laboratory of Ergodesign and Usability of Interfaces, idealizes and established by our beloved Prof. Anamaria de Moraes, the editors of this Journal decided to organize this particular issue, entitled ‘LEUI´s Doctors.’ The first Doctor in Design in Brazil, by PUC-Rio, Robson dos Santos developed his research from 2003 to 2006, at LEUI, supervised by Prof. Anamaria de Moraes.
Until today, LEUI has already formed LEUI 76 Masters and 22 Doctors in Design, what leaves us proud, considering the demanding scenario of research in Human Factors/ Ergonomics and design in Brazil.
In this particular issue was not possible to publish all thesis presented by LEUI students, unfortunately. However, the papers published here show not only a current panorama about what was developed considering all these years but also the diversity of the themes researched.
As usual in all Journal issues, all papers were evaluated by our Editorial board, to guarantee to our readers' high-quality scientific papers, as we intend that are all the issues of this publication.
To all, we wish a good reading!

Ergodesign & HCI, n. 2, v. 5, year 5 (2017)
Vol. 5 No. 2 (2017)It is with great joy that we publish our second Ergodesign&HCI publications of the year 2017.
There is a significant number of scientific publications where issues in the ergonomics and design fields are welcomed and we acknowledge the concern in publications in that area as a form of divulgation of papers has been growing. That is why our scientific committee has been working hard in evaluating these papers. With that in mind, not every paper that is submitted is approved. However, we are always open for new submissions in continuous flow to expand the inter and multidisciplinary in the sent papers.
We hope that you all can enjoy our content published in this issue and its research.
We wish you all a good reading,

Ergodesign & HCI, n. 2, v. 4, ano 4 (2016)
Vol. 4 No. 2 (2016)This edition celebrates the fourth year of Ergodesign & HCI Journal. Along these years we can say that this publication was consolidated with a bigger number of proposed and published papers, maintaining the necessary rigour of a scientific journal. We ́ve changed from a ‘dot com’ address to PUC-Rio ́s scientific journals and more recently, to OJS platform. A lot of effort were made to get here, but we want more. Our objective is the beginning of a new year with more submissions in English, allowing our readers a wider reach and spreading the Ergodesign area scientific production. We ́ll also be opened to special editions always ensuring our peer and blinded review. We believe that this choice will lead us to a national and international recognizing aimed by Prof. Anamaria de Moraes when idealized this Journal.
We wish you all an excellent reading!

Ergodesign & HCI, n. 1, v. 4, year 4 (2016)
Vol. 4 No. 1 (2016)Perseverance. This word expresses our work until here, as we begin the fourth year of our Journal. We are in a continuous effort to diffuse our publication, that we reached with the submission of papers from Brazil and abroad. We also believe that the change to OJS platform will allow a quick process of evaluation, as it happens with other scientific publications. In this way, we can maintain our compromise with the quality of what is published, with a blinded peer review process, so we can offer the most recent research on Human Factors/ Ergonomics applied to the design of products, information systems, built environment and human- computer interaction.
We wish you all an excellent reading!

Ergodesign & HCI, n. 2, v. 3, ano 3 (2015)
Vol. 3 No. 2 (2015)This number completes a cycle of three years of Ergodesign & HCI Journal. A lot of changes were done, and this way full of obstacles! We conquest that this Journal was included as one of the PUC-Rio Publications, and that could receive direct submissions, besides the best papers of Ergodesign & IHC Meetings. Authors from several Brazilian and international institutions believed in our efforts and their papers are published here, in a total of six numbers launched.
We hope that 2016 we could be recognized for all this work, consolidating Prof. Anamaria de Moraes' dream, who idealized Ergodesign &HCI Journal, and that we could continue to contribute to the diversity and variety of scientific researches carried out in Brazil and abroad in Human Factors/ Ergonomics, in Design and Human Computer Interaction.
Good reading!

Ergodesign & HCI, N. 2, v 2, ano 2 (2014)
Vol. 2 No. 2 (2014)Considering those with the best evaluation, considering separately Ergodesign, and USIHC meetings, the material was reviewed by the editorial board. In this process, special attention was given, once some members belong to both boards - meeting and journal. The idea was that in this second evaluation, papers could be appreciated by different persons.
As result, we release to our community of Human Factors/ Ergonomics & Design five more papers, after two rounds of evaluation. We hope that these papers could enhance more discussions and knowledge diffusion in both areas.
Sincerely, the Editors.

Ergodesign & HCI, N. 1, v 1, ano 1 (2013)
Vol. 1 No. 1 (2013)To this first number of our journal, we have decided to begin Prof. Anamaria de Moraes process, as she planned. Before she passed away, she has already begun this work - launch this journal. As mentioned in 'About this journal' the intention was to publish selected papers submitted and presented in Ergodesign & USIHC meetings.
So, Prof. Anamaria analyzed person the best 06 (six) articles of 11º. Ergodesign & 11º. USIHC. Even these papers are a little bit 'old', we understood that we couldn´t bypass her decision, which these should be the first papers to be published. Added to these 06 papers, we also included one of the Professor Anamaria papers, which give us a general view of Ergodesign area.
We believe that the texts available here that includes both Ergodesign and HCI areas can contribute meaningfully to academic and scientific diffusion.
Sincerely, the Editors.
