Abstract

The proposal of this work was to create a new product that focus on assistive technology. The product, define itself as a supportive chair to respiratory physiotherapy and visual stimulation for children, at the age of 0 to 3 years, with Zika Virus Congenital Syndrome (ZVCS). The method used for the development has the support of the Ergonomizer intervention through periodic visits and dialogs inside a physiotherapy and rehab institution, with the monitoring of the treatment of a child diagnosed with such sindrome. The work was adapted to the realization of the treatment, keeping the patient spine aline and also exemplified how the design is a inclusive tool.
