Abstract

This work aims to know the state of the art on ergonomic aspects (objective and / or subjective) in cookware handles in the Brazilian scenario. The analysis verified aspects such as, thermal insulation, safety, comfort, cultural factors, emotional factors, universal design and methods used in research, from a systematic bibliographic review in the years 2000 to 2020 about the subject. The results show that there is a lack of research on the subject, demonstrating the need for future studies in this topic, especially with regard to aspects of the universal pans design.
