The shirt has undergone several changes since its inception to adapt its technical, ergonomic and aesthetic qualities to the physical and social needs of the users. It is a garment that covers the upper part of the body and has been used in different contexts – from work to leisure. Given its versatility and users' search for comfort during use, this article aims to describe the wearability metrics of women's shirts. The identification of these metrics was based on the report of previous experiences of use by 35 women. After processing the data, effectiveness metrics (aesthetics, protection, modesty), efficiency metrics (wearing, buttoning, moving, unbuttoning, undressing) and satisfaction metrics (absence of physical and thermal discomfort, aesthetic preference and versatility) were presented in the wearability diagram of the women's shirt and can be used both for carrying out wearability tests and as a reference tool for the redesign or planning of fashion/clothing products.
