Due to the amount of time lost in traffic jams, overcrowded public transport, and the environmental impacts caused by the intense use of motor vehicles in different urban environments, the adoption of alternative means of transport is becoming increasingly frequent. In this way, using the Double Diamond methodological approach from Design Thinking, this article aimed to present the concept of an application for mobile devices for rental bicycles for the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam). As a result, a medium-fidelity prototype of the screens related to one of the possible tasks to be performed by the application was developed. Thus, the contribution of this study is to reinforce the importance of research with users in UX Design projects so that all decisions made by project teams are based on the needs demonstrated by these users.
