Abstract

This article explore presence aplication of the Heuristic Evaluation as an alternative procedure to test the steps of book search and buying at online bookstores Travessa, Siciliano and Nobel. The technique is applied with 5
usability specialists and based on 12 heuristics of evaluation. The end of the article presents recommendations
ordered by heuristic.
