Abstract

The rapid development of the Artificial Intelligence field has allowed several possibilities of interaction and cooperation between humans and machines, increasing productivity and assertiveness in the tasks performed. The confidence in the data processing capacity of computers has given scientists and researchers the certainty that machines will equal human brain capacity in a few decades. At the same time, cinema has been using robots as antagonists in productions, exploring the fact that human beings deal badly with the unknown. The work aims to analyze Artificial Intelligence and Human Factors to find points that demonstrate the human fear of becoming obsolete compared to machines. This works used a qualitative methodological structure, with a basic nature and exploratory nature. The results point out three aspects: Western culture, past events involving automation, and the projection of future scenarios.
